		Brunet, a Louisiana private who served in the 1st Special Bttn., and afterwards Fenner's Louisiana Btty., settled in Houston after the war. Included are a dresser, canopy bed (with its "secret" compartment) and his cadet gray color uniform. The Brunet family, like many others after the war, relocated to Texas and brought with them a fine furniture collection, some of which is on display
